The best times to visit Jordan are during spring (April-May) which brings optimal weather, lush with greenery, and during autumn (October-November) when the weather is mild and dry but not oppressive. Because of the capital city's elevation, evenings are cool. Winter season, from November through March, is generally mild but cold in high areas; spells of rain are interspersed with brilliant sunshine.
